Peter Marshall is currently a freelance photographer specializing in travel imagry and owner of Marshall Ikonography, a small fine art print and stock photography business that he established in 2004. Marshall Ikonography images are sold through this web site and Alamy Inc. in Oxford, England. These stock images grace educational text books, travel brochures, guidebooks and many magazines. Fine art prints from his protfolio are part of private collections in the UK, Turkey, USA, Canada and the Bahamas.Between 1998 and 2007, Peter was the Director of Network Applications at CANARIE Inc. in Ottawa, Ontario where he helped facilitate research and development of IP-based, high-resolution video conferencing systems, digital audio/video capture & distribution, and other high-speed networking applications using CANARIE's research and education network.
Peter holds MSc in Computer Science and in his previous position as Manager of Network Services at the University of Western Ontario, was instrumental in building the UWO campus computer network and Ontario's research and education network ONet.
